Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust

Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust is a family of specialist education providers serving pupils and students from nursery through to further education across London, Surrey, Sussex and Berkshire, supporting a wide range of learning abilities and additional needs.

OHC&AT needed a central trust website that communicated the scale, values and expertise of a complex organisation, serving a wide range of audiences including parents, prospective staff, governors and partner organisations.

A trust of this size and depth carries significant content requirements. The site needed to present the college centres, academies, governance structure, vacancies, news and fundraising clearly and accessibly, without losing the warmth and human focus that sits at the heart of everything OHC&AT does. Accessibility was a priority throughout, reflecting the trust’s commitment to the communities it serves.

We built a well-structured, accessible central website that gave OHC&AT a platform worthy of an Outstanding provider, presenting a large volume of information clearly and navigating visitors naturally to the content most relevant to them.

Individual academy websites

Alongside the central trust site, we built individual websites for thirteen academies within the trust, each with its own logo, colour scheme and identity while sitting consistently within the wider OHC&AT family.

Each academy needed to feel like its own school, with a distinct visual personality that reflected its own community, values and pupils. At the same time, the underlying structure, accessibility standards and content framework remained consistent across every site, making the suite of websites recognisable as part of the same family while giving each school room to express its own character.

The academies include Addington Valley Academy, Arbour Vale School, Bedelsford School, Brantridge School, Carew Academy, Dysart School, Nightingale Community Academy, St Dominic’s School, St Philip’s School, The Link School, The Pride Academy, The Skills Hub and Unified Academy.
